Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 August 2026 · version 2.0
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Portrevo service available at portrevo.com. Portrevo is operated by archBO s.r.o. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, the Biometric Consent and the AI Transparency Notice, which form part of the information we give you before you place an order.
You can save, print and reproduce these Terms at any time from this page. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
1. Who we are
The service is provided by archBO s.r.o., with its registered office at Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague, Czech Republic, company registration number (IČO) 01944711, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 285018.
Contact address for all matters, including complaints and withdrawal from the contract: kontakt@portrevo.com, telephone +420 725 543 392. We answer in Polish, Czech and English.
Portrevo is a trading name of archBO s.r.o. Wherever these Terms say we, us or Portrevo, they mean archBO s.r.o.
2. Definitions
Service — the Portrevo web application. It does one thing: it trains a personal AI model from photographs of your face that you upload and generates professional portraits of your face from that model. We offer nothing else.
Account — your user account in the application, created with your e-mail address.
Input Photos — the 10 to 15 photographs of your face that you upload in order to have your model trained.
Model — the personal AI model trained from your Input Photos.
Output Photos — the portraits generated by the Service from your Model.
Free Trial — the one personal Model that every Account may have trained free of charge, together with the Output Photos generated from it free of charge. It is described in section 4.
Preview — an Output Photo as it is shown to you before you pay: reduced to 600 pixels on the longer side and carrying a visible watermark.
Unlock — the only paid performance of the Service: a one-off payment which makes all Output Photos of one Model available to you for download in full resolution and without the visible watermark. It is described in sections 7 and 8.
Unlocked Photo — an Output Photo of a Model for which the Unlock has been paid.
Credits — an internal unit of account by which we measure our own cost of a training run and of a generation. You do not buy them, we do not charge you in them and you do not need them in order to use the Service (section 9).
Consumer — a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession, including a sole trader buying outside the scope of their professional activity (Art. 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
3. What the Service does
Portrevo does one thing: professional portraits of your face. You upload 10 to 15 photographs of your own face and we train a personal model of your appearance from them. Training normally takes about twenty minutes; we notify you by e-mail when your model is ready.
Training and generation cost you nothing. Once the model is ready, you choose a style (purpose, clothing, background, pose, lighting, mood, framing, accessories) and the Service generates your Output Photos free of charge. The prompt is assembled on our server from the options you select; a free-text field lets you adjust details and is filtered automatically.
In the gallery you see those photographs as Previews: reduced to 600 pixels on the longer side and carrying a visible watermark. You may look at them, compare them and decide whether they are worth buying. The only paid performance of the Service is the Unlock: a one-off payment of 129 zloty per Model, after which all Output Photos of that Model become available to you for download in full resolution and without the visible watermark (section 8).
The whole process is fully automated. No person at Portrevo looks at, retouches or curates your photographs as part of the ordinary delivery of the Service. Access by our staff to stored files happens only where it is necessary to investigate a technical fault, a security incident or a complaint.
4. The free trial
Every Account may have one personal Model trained free of charge. You upload 10 to 15 photographs of your face, we train the Model and we generate Output Photos from it — without any payment and without any obligation to pay arising.
The number of Output Photos included in the Free Trial is currently 24. It is a business parameter, not a promise for all time; the number in force is always shown in the application before you start.
The Output Photos of the Free Trial are shown to you as Previews: reduced to 600 pixels on the longer side and carrying a visible watermark. Until the Unlock has been paid, the application never hands out the address of a clean file in full resolution.
The Free Trial is available once per person and once per Account. Creating additional Accounts, using additional e-mail addresses or using another person's identity in order to obtain a further Free Trial is a breach of these Terms.
If we detect such a breach we may refuse to start a training run, suspend the Account, delete the Models created in that way and terminate the contract with immediate effect. This does not affect Output Photos that you have already unlocked by payment on an Account held in accordance with these Terms.
We keep a Model that has not been unlocked, together with its Previews, for at least 90 days from the completion of training. After that period we may delete the Model and the photographs generated from it, because storing them costs us money for a performance nobody has paid for. We warn you by e-mail before we delete it. Paying the Unlock stops that clock (section 23).
5. Technical requirements and prohibited content
To use the Service you need an internet connection, a current version of a common web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, an active e-mail address, and photographs in JPEG, PNG or WebP format, each up to 10 MB and up to 60 MB in total, with a shorter side of at least 512 pixels.
You must not supply unlawful content through the Service. This includes content infringing third-party rights, personal data of other people that you are not entitled to provide, malware, and any attempt to interfere with the operation or the security of the Service.
The quality of the Output Photos depends on the quality and the variety of your Input Photos. The application checks each uploaded photo automatically (resolution, sharpness, whether a face is detected) and warns you before training; these checks are an aid, not a guarantee of the result.
6. Account and eligibility
The Service is available only to persons who are at least 18 years old and have full capacity to enter into contracts. We do not knowingly create accounts for children and we do not process photographs of children. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will close it and delete the data.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens through your Account. Tell us immediately at kontakt@portrevo.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
One person may hold one Account. We apply technical limits per Account (currently a maximum of 20 Models, 15 photographs per training, and daily limits on training and generation runs) in order to keep the Service available and to prevent abuse. Independently of those limits, the Free Trial is available only once per Account (section 4). The limits in force are shown in the application.
You may delete your model and all related photographs at any time from within the application. The Account section of the application also contains a single button, Withdraw consent and delete everything, which marks all your consents as withdrawn and deletes all your models and all photographs at once. You may ask us to delete your entire Account by writing to kontakt@portrevo.com.
7. How the contract is concluded and the order button
Registration, the Free Trial and the generation of the Output Photos it includes are free of charge. By starting a training run you conclude a contract for the supply of a free digital service; no obligation to pay arises from it and we do not ask you for payment details.
The presentation of the Unlock in the application is an invitation to conclude a contract, not a binding offer.
Before you press the order button we show you, on the same screen: the main characteristics of what you are buying (the download of all Output Photos of the Model concerned, in full resolution and without the visible watermark), the total price of 129 zloty, which is the final price, the fact that delivery starts immediately after payment, and the information about your right of withdrawal and about the circumstances in which you lose it (section 18). The button is labelled Order with an obligation to pay (in the Polish interface: Zamowienie z obowiazkiem zaplaty). Pressing it means that you place a binding order.
The contract for the Unlock is concluded when the payment is confirmed. Immediately afterwards we send you a confirmation on a durable medium (e-mail) which reproduces these Terms, the pre-contractual information, the statement about the start of delivery and about the loss of the right of withdrawal that you ticked, and the time at which you ticked it.
Card payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as our payment service provider. We never see and never store your card number.
8. Prices and payment
All prices shown in the application are total prices in Polish zloty. The price you see before you order is the final price and nothing is added to it.
The Free Trial carries no charge at all: neither the training of the Model nor the generation of the Output Photos it includes is paid for.
The only price in the Service is the Unlock: 129 zloty in total, once per Model. It makes all Output Photos generated from that Model available for download in full resolution and without the visible watermark, for as long as the Model exists in your Account and in any event for at least 12 months from the payment (section 23).
There is no subscription, no package and no automatic renewal. Nothing is charged repeatedly and nothing is charged without a further order from you. If you have another Model trained and want its photographs too, you pay the Unlock for that Model at the price in force at the time.
archBO s.r.o. is not registered for value added tax, so no VAT is added to the price. The 129 zloty is the final amount: no tax, fee or surcharge of any kind is added to it. We send you a proof of payment by e-mail after the payment; if you need anything further, write to kontakt@portrevo.com.
9. Credits
Credits are only an internal unit of account by which we measure our own cost of a training run and of a generation. You do not buy them, we do not charge you in them and you do not need them in order to use the Service: the Free Trial is free of charge and the only payment is the one-off Unlock under section 8. If we ever decide to sell credits or any other prepaid unit, we will publish new Terms and tell you before that happens.
10. Training your personal model
Training starts only after you have given the separate explicit consent to the processing of the photographs of your face described in the Biometric Consent. That consent is required before every training run, including the Free Trial, because the photographs of your face are a special category of data under Art. 9 of the GDPR and no training may take place without it. It is given by ticking a separate, initially unticked box.
Training itself is free of charge and creates no obligation to pay. We therefore do not ask you at this point to give up your right of withdrawal: that statement belongs to the payment for the Unlock and is taken there (section 18).
Training takes about twenty minutes and normally uses 10 to 15 Input Photos. We notify you by e-mail when your Model is ready. Training is completed when the trained Model is stored and marked as ready.
If training fails, the Model is marked as failed, the photographs you uploaded for that training are deleted, and — if the failed run was your Free Trial — the Free Trial becomes available to you again.
11. Generating photos
Output Photos are generated from your Model free of charge, up to the number included in the Free Trial. They are stored in your gallery in our private storage.
Until the Unlock for that Model has been paid, the gallery shows them only as Previews: reduced to 600 pixels on the longer side and carrying a visible watermark, produced on our server for each request. Once the Unlock has been paid, the same photographs become available in full resolution and without the visible watermark.
An automated safety filter runs at the AI processor. If it blocks a generation and no images are returned, no photograph is added to your gallery and the attempt is not counted against the Free Trial.
AI image generation is probabilistic. We cannot guarantee that a particular photograph will meet a particular expectation of likeness, styling or composition — that is precisely why you see all of them before you decide to pay. This does not affect your statutory rights if the Service as a whole is not in conformity with the contract.
12. Acceptable use
You may upload only photographs of yourself. You must not upload photographs of any other person unless that person has given you documented, informed consent to have their face processed by Portrevo for the purpose of training an AI model — and you must be able to prove it on request.
You must not upload photographs of children or of any person under 18, in any circumstances.
You must not use the Service to create content that impersonates another person, that is intended to deceive, defame, harass or discriminate, that is sexual, nude or otherwise explicit, that depicts violence, weapons, self-harm, or hateful or extremist symbols, or that is otherwise unlawful in Poland, in the Czech Republic or in your country of residence.
You must not attempt to bypass the filters of the Service, to inject instructions into the free-text field, to reverse engineer or extract the models, or to use the Service by automated means beyond ordinary personal use.
You must not circumvent the protection of the unpaid Previews. In particular you must not remove, crop out, retouch, paint over or otherwise suppress the visible watermark, bypass the preview route of the application, obtain an Output Photo in full resolution by any route other than a paid Unlock, or extract files from our storage or from the AI processor.
You must not use a Preview commercially and you must not publish it. Until the Unlock has been paid you may only view a Preview and assess it in order to decide whether to buy; any other use — a profile picture, a website, a CV, a portfolio, advertising — requires a paid Unlock.
The free-text field is filtered automatically against a list of prohibited terms in English, Polish and Czech, and the AI processor applies its own safety filter. These filters are imperfect: they may reject an innocent request and they will not catch everything. They do not replace your own responsibility for what you ask for and for what you do with the result.
If you breach this section we may refuse a request, suspend the Account or terminate the contract with immediate effect. Circumventing the watermark or the preview route is a serious breach: in addition to the measures above we may block downloads from the Account, claim payment of the Unlock price for every Model whose photographs you obtained in that way, and claim compensation for the damage caused. These measures do not affect Output Photos that you have unlocked in accordance with these Terms.
13. Your photos and the licence you give us
You keep all rights to your Input Photos. We do not acquire ownership of them.
You grant us a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence, limited to what is necessary to operate the Service for you: to store your Input Photos, to make them available to the processors named in the Privacy Policy, to train your Model, to generate Output Photos and to display them back to you. The licence lasts as long as the relevant data is stored and ends when you delete the model, the photographs or your Account.
We do not use your Input Photos, your Model or your Output Photos to train, fine-tune, develop or improve any AI model of ours, and we do not license them to anyone else for that purpose. Our AI processor is contractually bound not to use your content to create, train or develop its own products or services.
We do not use your photographs in marketing, references or portfolio material. If we ever wish to, we will ask for a separate, optional consent which you are free to refuse without any effect on the Service.
14. Rights to the generated photos
Rights to an Output Photo arise on the Unlock. Once you have paid the Unlock for a Model, then as between you and us the Output Photos generated from that Model are yours: you may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial use such as a professional profile, a website or a CV, without paying us anything further and without crediting us.
Until the Unlock has been paid you have only the right to view the Previews and to assess them in order to decide whether to buy. A Preview is not licensed for publication or for any commercial use (section 12).
We claim no rights in the Output Photos beyond the technical need to store them and display them to you.
Please note an honest limitation: under EU and national copyright law it is uncertain to what extent purely AI-generated images enjoy copyright protection at all. We cannot promise you that you will be able to enforce copyright in an Output Photo against a third party.
You are responsible for making sure that your use of an Output Photo does not infringe the rights of others (for example trade marks, brands or designs visible in a generated background).
15. AI-generated content and your own obligations
The Output Photos are generated by artificial intelligence. They are not photographs of a real event: they show your likeness in a scene that never took place.
We mark every Output Photo in a machine-readable format, as required by Article 50(2) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act): each delivered file carries an XMP metadata packet with the IPTC property DigitalSourceType set to trainedAlgorithmicMedia, together with the creator tool, a credit line naming the Provider and the date of generation. The AI Transparency Notice describes this in detail.
Unpaid Previews carry a visible watermark and are reduced to 600 pixels on the longer side. Unlocked Photos are delivered without any visible watermark and without any visible AI label — they carry only the machine-readable marking described above. The visible watermark on Previews is not a measure required by the AI Act: Article 50(2) requires machine-readable marking only. It protects a product that has not been paid for, in the same way as any photo library does.
You must not remove, alter, obscure or otherwise degrade the marking and provenance signals that the Provider embeds in the Output Photos.
If you publish an Output Photo in the course of a professional or business activity — for example on a professional network such as LinkedIn, in a CV or a job application, on a company website or in a portfolio — you may yourself become a deployer under Article 50(4) of the AI Act and have your own duty to disclose, clearly and distinguishably, that the image is artificially generated. That duty is yours, not ours, and you cannot discharge it by relying on the machine-readable marking that we embed, because that marking is not perceivable by a human being. For purely personal, non-professional use the duty does not apply to you.
You must not use the Output Photos to deceive anyone about their nature — for example as evidence, as a document photograph where an authentic photograph is required, or to suggest that an event took place.
16. Availability of the Service
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and on an external AI processor, and it may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents or provider outages.
We may change the technical implementation of the Service, including changing the AI processor, provided that the characteristics and the quality of what you have already paid for are not degraded. If a change materially and negatively affects your access to or use of the Service, we will inform you in advance and you may terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days. If the change deprives you of access to Output Photos that you have already unlocked by payment, we refund the price of that Unlock.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights if the digital service is not in conformity with the contract. You are entitled to have the Service brought into conformity and, where that is impossible or fails, to a price reduction or to termination of the contract, under the applicable consumer law.
17. Liability
We are liable to you for damage caused by a breach of our obligations, in accordance with the applicable law.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury, for intentional acts or gross negligence, for breach of statutory conformity obligations, or in any other case where liability cannot be excluded or limited under the mandatory law applicable to consumers.
Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for the way you use the Output Photos, for the consequences of publishing them, or for a loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was concluded.
We are not liable for unavailability of the Service caused by circumstances outside our control, including outages at our infrastructure or AI providers, provided that we act without undue delay to restore it.
18. Right of withdrawal within 14 days
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period runs from the day on which the contract was concluded.
To withdraw it is enough to send us an unequivocal statement before the period expires — by e-mail to kontakt@portrevo.com or on paper to our registered office. You may use the model form in section 19, but you do not have to.
The Free Trial: we charge nothing for it. The training of the Model and the generation of the Output Photos it includes are provided free of charge, so there is nothing to refund and no amount can ever become payable in respect of them if you withdraw. We do not claim a proportionate amount for a free trial.
The Unlock is the only paid performance. It is the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium: photograph files in full resolution, without the visible watermark, made available in the application immediately after payment.
You have the 14-day right of withdrawal in respect of the Unlock as well, and you lose it only where all of the following are met: you expressly requested that delivery begin before the period expires; you acknowledged that you would thereby lose the right of withdrawal; and we then made the files available to you without the visible watermark and confirmed all of this to you on a durable medium. This follows from Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, from Article 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act and from Section 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code.
The wording you tick at the payment screen is: I expressly request that Portrevo begin delivering the digital content — the download of my photographs in full resolution and without the visible watermark — immediately after payment, that is, before the 14-day withdrawal period expires. I acknowledge that by making those files available to me Portrevo causes me to lose my right of withdrawal in respect of that content. We confirm this statement to you by e-mail immediately after payment, together with the order (section 7).
If you did not make that express request, or did not acknowledge its consequence, or if we failed to give you the pre-contractual information about the right of withdrawal, the right does not lapse. You may then withdraw within 14 days, we refund the whole price within 14 days of receiving your statement using the same means of payment, and the download is locked again.
If you withdraw before we have made the unlocked files available to you, you pay nothing and we refund the whole price. We never charge you for a photograph you have only seen as a Preview.
19. Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To: archBO s.r.o., Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague, Czech Republic, kontakt@portrevo.com.
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following digital content or service: ......................................................
Ordered on: ...................... Name of the consumer: ...................... Address of the consumer: ...................... E-mail used for the order: ......................
Signature of the consumer (only if this form is notified on paper): ...................... Date: ......................
20. Complaints
Complaints about the Service, including complaints about the lack of conformity of the digital service or of the digital content with the contract, about an Unlock and about payments, should be sent to kontakt@portrevo.com. Please describe the problem, state the e-mail address of your Account, the date and, where relevant, the Model or the photograph concerned, and tell us what you expect.
We reply to a complaint within 14 days of receiving it, on a durable medium. If you are a consumer and we do not reply within that period, the complaint is deemed to have been accepted (Art. 7a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
If we reject a complaint in whole or in part, our reply will also state whether we agree to take part in out-of-court dispute resolution proceedings or refuse to take part in them.
21. Out-of-court dispute resolution
archBO s.r.o. has not undertaken to use out-of-court consumer dispute resolution. This does not deprive you of the right to turn to the bodies listed below; it means only that we are not bound in advance to participate. If we refuse to take part in a specific case, we will say so expressly in our reply to your complaint.
Consumers resident in Poland may in particular: apply to the provincial inspector of the Trade Inspection (wojewódzki inspektor Inspekcji Handlowej) for mediation; apply to the permanent consumer arbitration court (stały sąd polubowny konsumencki) operating at the Trade Inspection; or seek free assistance from a district or municipal consumer ombudsman (powiatowy lub miejski rzecznik konsumentów). Information and forms: polubowne.uokik.gov.pl and uokik.gov.pl.
Consumers resident in the Czech Republic may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, which is the competent body for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes in this area: adr.coi.cz, coi.cz.
For cross-border disputes within the EU, free advice is available from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net): in Poland konsument.gov.pl, in the Czech Republic evropskyspotrebitel.cz.
The European Commission online dispute resolution platform was shut down and Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was repealed with effect from 20 July 2025, which is why no ODR link is given here.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms only for an important reason and only for the future. The important reasons are, exhaustively: a change of law or of its official interpretation; a decision of a court or of a supervisory authority; a change of the processors or of the technology used to provide the Service; a security or fraud-prevention requirement; a change in the scope of the services provided or in the business model; the addition of a new function or a new payment method; or the correction of an obvious mistake.
We will inform you of a change by e-mail at least 14 days before it takes effect, together with the new text.
A change never applies retroactively to an Unlock you have already paid for or to services already performed: photographs you have unlocked stay unlocked, at the price you paid. If you do not accept the change, you may stop using the Service and terminate the contract before the change takes effect.
Every version of these Terms carries a version number and an effective date and remains available on request.
23. Duration and termination
The contract for the Free Trial is performed by training the Model and generating the Output Photos it includes. The contract for an Unlock is performed in full at the moment when we make the files available to you for download without the visible watermark. Nothing renews automatically and nothing is charged repeatedly. You may stop using the Service at any time.
You may delete a Model together with its training photographs and its Output Photos at any time in the application, and you may ask us to delete your Account at kontakt@portrevo.com. Deleting a Model or the Account deletes the unlocked photographs as well, so download them first. We keep unlocked photographs available for download for as long as the Model exists in your Account, and in any event for at least 12 months from the payment.
We may terminate the contract with immediate effect if you seriously breach section 5 or section 12, or if we are required to do so by law. If we terminate before we have made the files of a paid Unlock available to you, we refund the price of that Unlock.
24. Personal data
How we process your personal data — including the photographs of your face, which we treat as a special category of data — is described in the Privacy Policy and in the Biometric Consent. Both are linked in the footer of every page.
Providing the photographs and giving the separate explicit consent is voluntary, but without them the Service cannot be provided, because processing the photographs of your face is the very substance of the Service.
25. Governing law, language and jurisdiction
These Terms and the contract are governed by Czech law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence (Art. 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I). For consumers resident in Poland, mandatory Polish consumer law applies in full.
A consumer may bring proceedings against us either before the courts of the Czech Republic or before the courts of the country of the consumer's residence, and we may bring proceedings against a consumer only before the courts of the country of the consumer's residence (Arts 17 to 19 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
These Terms are published in English, Polish and Czech. For consumers resident in Poland, the Polish version is the basis for interpretation, in accordance with the Polish Act on the Polish Language.
If a provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. An invalid provision is replaced by the applicable statutory rule.
26. Effective date
This version 2.0 of the Terms of Service applies from 6 August 2026.
